Stiglitz on Bush

Filed under: Economics, Politics — duncan @ 9:26 pm

In this month’s edition of Vanity Fair, Joseph Stiglitz makes his bid for the Nobel Prize in coldly furious polemic. Check it out, here.

  1. The weak U.S. dollar is making an impact on the landscape here. Foreign bussinesses are popping up
everywhere. It’s kind of nice because I can just pretend I’m in Europe and forget that George W. Bush
    is my president.

  2. Chinese restaurants are rather popular here in the states. I what would happen if I tried paying for some egg rolls
and chow mein with paper IOUs?

  3. I’m sorry…that second sentence should begin, “I WONDER what would happen…”

  4. Hasn’t he already got the Nobel Prize?

  5. Yes Tom, but not in coldly furious polemic. And that’s the *best* prize. Just ask Pinter.
